“Accounting is the art of business storytelling. Knowing and understanding that story allows for better decision-making.” – Journal of Accountancy

As someone drawn to purpose-driven work, JCCS’s emphasis on its mission, vision, and values makes my workday invaluable. These overarching aspirations are weaved into everyday life at JCCS, from working with clients to collaborating with team members. My colleagues partner with clients (and one another) in transformative ways, and I get to tell their stories!

Believe it or not, public accounting and business advising are not all about the numbers. The numbers are not what enticed my colleagues to work for JCCS. The real draw is the enriching and difference-making work with clients. “I find success in the success of my clients,” said one colleague.

I grew up in Billings, visiting the Beartooth Mountains and Yellowstone National Park. I’m thrilled to now call Whitefish home where you might find me on local trails and ski runs. Prior to Whitefish, I lived in Aspen, Colorado and worked in communications and marketing for nonprofits and in higher education, and local government. My career in storytelling began in Missoula where I was a television and public radio journalist.
