Jake believes that the most crucial part of accounting services is the client relationship. It’s not just about the numbers – it’s about the people and the business behind those numbers. Helping hardworking people and motivated business owners make sound financial decisions is what powers Jake’s work.

Jake also takes pride in providing service that goes above and beyond once-a-year tax preparation – he is committed to being a year-round, full-circle financial resource for his clients. Whether it is answering a question on the tax effects of a business transaction in March or a personal investment strategy in September, Jake wants to ensure the clients of JCCS receive the best advice possible. He brings the investor-accountant relationship to the forefront, working with JCCS colleagues with additional expertise to help his clients look past this year and into their financial futures. And all the while, Jake’s clients can expect direct and fast communication when they need it the most.

A Montana native, Jake was born in Missoula and moved to the Flathead Valley in 2013. When it’s not crunch time (i.e., April), he can usually be found fishing, hiking or spending time with family outside. He also enjoys travel and plans to continue adding new countries to his list of explorations.
