Amelia Haverkamp is an outdoor enthusiast, and her love of nature is what brought her to Montana. While originally hailing from North Dakota she has now made Missoula her home.
During her studies at the University of Montana she had the opportunity to be a part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA). Amelia worked alongside many of her fellow accounting students to provide free tax help to people in the community. It was an amazing experience that helped grow her interest in the tax field and profession. She enjoyed working with the VITA program clients to provide a greatly needed service in the community and getting to know her clients along the way.
Amelia is deeply invested in helping people and having a positive impact in the world. She chose to be an accountant to use her analytical skills to help people understand their business and personal finances in the ever-changing world of tax. She strives to hold herself to the standards and expectations of JCCS and her community. She looks forward to interacting with and helping the clients of JCCS. She is an active member of the Missoula community and is a member of a volunteer organization formed with her friends to clean up Missoula’s streets and bike paths. They have recently branched out and adopted part of Old U.S Highway 93.
