Casey Nimocks graduated with her associate’s degree in 2010, ready to start her new adventure in the world of accounting. She worked as an accounting clerk in the nonprofit sector while she went back to school to get her bachelor’s degree. Now with growing years of experience as an accounting professional, Casey chooses to focus on the bookkeeping and payroll side of things.
Casey believes that helping her clients in their success is her number one priority. And she believes in action. For JCCS, that means that Casey and her team members continually watch the rapid changing payroll laws, and keep their clients updated with these changes made and anticipated so each client can make decisions that will help with its success.
It also means using her knowledge in payroll to inform broader business issues. For example, Casey worked on a JCCS team’s employee compensation review for a client. The resultant analysis included average industry wages for the different regions of both Montana and the United States. With this and other detail, the client could compare its wages to different industry averages and use this analysis as a budgeting tool. The employee compensation review proved a valuable tool for the company as it wants to stay competitive – both as a profitable business and as a great place to work that values its employees.
Born and raised in Missoula, Montana, Casey also believes in action outside of the office – she especially enjoys skydiving, floating down the Clark Fork River on a hot summer day, hiking with her two Yorkies, and spending time with family and friends.
