Bookkeeper Maria Snow sums up her professional stance: Give people enough guidance to make the decisions you want them to make. Don’t tell them what to do, but encourage them to do what is best.

Maria joined JCCS in 2010 on our front office administration staff and now is a trusted member of our accomplished bookkeeping department. Maria’s love of cooking and past catering experience steered her to work with a number of our restaurant and hotel-based clients. She also particularly enjoys working with clients in the child care industry. She is now the local CAS Champion for the Great Falls office.

Maria’s approach with clients is simple. As a bookkeeper she believes time needs to be taken to thoroughly understand her clients and how each operates its business. She encourages clients to ask questions at any time and lets them know she is here to help in any way possible – and that she works with a diversified group of team members that she can refer them to in order to meet all their needs.

A Montana native, Maria often thinks of how a diamond is created when she thinks about the JCCS team. When a lump of graphite, a loose cluster of carbon molecules, is put under enormous pressure for a long period of time, it creates a diamond. JCCS has recently restructured, building a team with a leader who motivates and drives the team. Like a diamond, our team is composed of numerous employees with unique experiences and capabilities. Each member is encouraged to challenge him- or herself, gain in their professional wisdom and share their ideas. For Maria, that is all vital to success.
